It is a service that turns your vinyl catalogue into 3D showcases people can flip through. Visitors to your site browse the sleeves as they would in a shop, open each record card and add it to the cart.

In four steps: you create your free account, you create your boxes with up to 50 records each (title, artist, sleeve, format and price), you choose from your account area how many boxes appear in the widget, and you paste the code on your site. From that moment the showcase is live.

No. You copy one line of code, paste it into your page and you are done: the widget loads on its own and stays in step with your catalogue, with no plugins to install and no changes to your site.

The first 2 boxes are free. Every extra box is activated for a set period, from 3,00 € for one month, with 3, 6 and 12 month options too.

From your account area you copy one line of code and paste it into the page of your site where you want the boxes to appear. It works on WordPress, Joomla and any site where you can paste a little HTML: no plugins, no developers.

We can take care of it. We can design your personal website on a domain of your own (for example: yourrecords.com): the basic cost is 500 € one-off, already including the two free boxes and an admin panel where you can change the shipping cost, the payment methods you accept and so on plus 150 € for hosting and domain. If you already have a domain or prefer a different hosting provider, the cost is 50 € one-off to install the software.

Each box holds up to 50 records. For every record you can enter artist, title, sleeve, format, label, catalogue number and price.

Yes, at any time from your account area. The widget updates itself: you never touch the code already pasted on your site.

They flip through the box, open the record card with a right-click and add it to the cart. At checkout they choose the payment method (PayPal, PostePay, bank transfer or collection in person) and say where the records should go. You can try the whole flow in the demo section.

After you sign up we send you a confirmation email: click the link inside it to activate the account, then you can log in with your email and password and create your boxes. If you cannot find it, check your spam folder too.

Yes: you can add, edit and delete items at any time, up to the capacity of the box and within its validity period.

When a customer completes an order you receive an email with the summary and the customer receives their confirmation. Every order stays available in the "Orders received" section of your account area.

In the "Payment methods" panel of your account (My account → Set up payments). There you tick the methods you want to accept and enter the matching details:
  • PayPal: you enter the email of your PayPal account. The customer pays straight into that account and the order is marked as paid automatically.
  • PostePay: you enter the card number, which the customer sees in order to top it up.
  • Bank transfer: you enter your IBAN.
  • Collection in person: the customer pays when picking the records up, no other details needed.
If you enable PayPal the account email is required, as is the IBAN if you enable bank transfer. At checkout the customer sees only the methods you have enabled and picks one.

You do, straight from the customer: VinileRaro keeps nothing and acts as no middleman. The customer pays into the PayPal account, the PostePay or the IBAN you entered, or in person on collection. With PayPal the order moves to "Paid" by itself; with the other methods you update the order status yourself from "Orders received" once the money arrives, where every order can be Pending, Paid, Shipping, Completed or Cancelled.

In the "Shipping costs" panel of your account (My account → Set up shipping). You choose one of four ways to calculate them:
  • Flat rate per order: the same amount on every order.
  • Flat rate, free above an amount: you also set the threshold (e.g. free from 100 €); below it, the flat rate applies.
  • Bands based on the number of items: e.g. 1 to 2 items 6 €, 3 to 5 items 10 €. Beyond the last band, the highest band applies.
  • Bands based on weight: e.g. 0 to 1000 g 7 €, 1001 to 3000 g 12 €. For this to work you have to enter the weight of the records when you add them to the boxes.
The flat rate also acts as a fallback: if an order falls into no band, that is what applies. The calculated amount appears automatically in your customers' cart and checkout.

No. The widget code is personal and tied only to your boxes, and the number of boxes on show is controlled from your account area: it cannot be changed from the page.

From your boxes section you choose the duration you prefer (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) and pay with PayPal. Once the payment arrives the box is activated and you can add your records to it.

Before the expiry date you receive a reminder email. If the box is not renewed it stays suspended for the time being, but its contents remain archived for 2 months: renew within that window and you get everything back. After those 2 months the box and the records inside it are deleted. Free boxes have no expiry date.
